This lesson
covers the layer 6 of OSI model which is the presentation layer. As the other
layers, presentation layer plays a prominent role in networking. This layer is
concerned with the syntax and symantics of information exchanged between two
systems. It is the layer that makes our online conversations and data exchange
secure and safe. Presentation layer has three major functions which are: compression/decompression, encryption/decryption, and translation. The
